Come join our multi-office team environment in Minneapolis. We are currently seeking a full-time Project Architect to be an ideal team player participating in the full range of document production activities in support of our Project Managers and Architects. This position requires a reliable, precise, hard-worker who will strive to do their best on every project. Responsibilities:

• Accurate documentation of commercial projects from concept and schematic design

  through construction documentation and detailing

• Organization and coordination of all construction documents (drawings & specifications)

• Client and Consultant communication liaison

• Research and tracking of materials and products for project specifications

• Implementation of all local, state and federal applicable building codes, and understanding of constructability and architectural standards of practice in Midwest region.

• Site observations and site inventory documentation

• Participate in all aspects of construction administration related activities (in office & on site)

• Lead / Mentor production staff

• Invest in relationships with our clients, consultants, contractors and internal team

Qualifications:

• Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision

• Professional communication and writing skills

• Exceptional interpersonal people skills required

• Ability to work in a team atmosphere

• Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited NAAB architecture program preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Architecture projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Architectural Desktop (release 2014 or newer)

• Proficiency in REVIT (release 2015 or newer)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Experience in several of the following project types is a plus:

  • Financial Project (Banks / Credit Unions)

  • Recreation Facilities (Ice Arena, Air supported dome and fitness facilities)

  • Cultural Center / Visitor Center / Museum facilities

  • Office / Warehouse buildings

  • Light Industrial & Manufacturing facilities

  • Tenant improvement projects (office, retail, restaurants)

  • Native American focused projects

  • Medical Office Buildings or Outpatient Medical clinics

• Working knowledge of SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop a plus
