Dan Sterner
Job Captain
Dan switched careers from analytical chemistry to architecture to follow his passion for sustainability and design. This unique path came full circle where he was able to use his previous industry knowledge to work on Higher Education laboratory buildings and Science and Technology projects, with a focus on lab design. These highly technical skillsets have proved useful for a variety of other project types including Health Care, K-12 Education, Workplace and Transportation design. As rewarding as the technical part of architecture is, Dan particularly enjoys collaborating with project teams and working with clients to realize their visions for better environments.
Outside of HTG, Dan enjoys cooking/grilling, traveling, playing basketball, and running (particularly after his twin daughters).
